Food and Drink
Several things should be kept in mind. First, no hard alcohol is allowed on any of our boats. Beer, wine and champagne are fine. Secondly, small easily eaten items are best on a sailboat, rather than things like potato chips which will simply blow all over the boat. Also none of our boats have huge dining tables so don't expect room for a lobster dinner! Both Sightsailer and Starlight have narrow tables that hold small, red, cafeteria style trays. If you want to order food and are sailing on Sightsailer or Starlight, make sure you request that your order be put on Sightsailing's small, red trays. If you are ordering food for a charter on Aquidneck, the area to place food is larger so any size platters will work. If you would like us to provide your drinks for you, simply tell us what you would like and we'll have them ready for you when you arrive. The cost for drinks and any ice will be added to your total charter fee. We do not markup the cost of alcohol or charge for delivery. Please note that food should be ordered at least 72 hours in advance. Also realize that if your sail is cancelled, there is no refund.

If you are privately chartering one of our boats and would like food or beverages we would be happy to assist you. If you're going on one of our regular public sails you may bring your own food but don't show up with a huge spread unless you intend to share it with everyone! A sample of suggested menu items available through Max's Market, an outstanding local caterer, is provided at the bottom of this page.
